SORT Sheet Prize Entry Guidelines
In the "SORT" sheet, enter prize details as per the tournament brochure:
• For Main Prizes, label as:
Example: Main_1, Main_2, Main_3, etc.
• For Rating Category Prizes (start from the highest rating category):
Example: Below_1800_1, Below_1600_1, etc.
• For Unrated Players:
Example: Un_1, Un_2, etc.
• For Veteran Categories:
If 55 years and above: S55_1
If above 55 years: S56_1
(Follow the classification provided in the brochure.)
• For Women’s Prizes:
Example: Use SP_1, SP_2, etc.
In the "Group" column of the Ranklist sheet, mark these entries as SP.
• For Physically Challenged or similar special categories:
Use PC_1, PC_2, etc.
• For Club/Regional Prizes:
Use Kar_1, Kar_2, etc.
• For Age Group Prizes:
Use U07_1, U09_1, etc.
• If the prize is a Trophy or Medal, still enter it under "SORT" with the term "Trophy".
• If a Trophy is awarded instead of prize money, add ₹1 to the prize money to differentiate.
Mode 2:
• Special Considerations for Age Categories
• Begin with the highest age category when listing in the SORT sheet.
• Even if the prize is a Trophy or Medal, assign differentiated numerical values like 500, 400, etc., to
maintain prize order.
• Start from the highest age group. Give value less than the least prize money.
For example
U18_1 value 1010
U16_ value 1009
U14_1 value 1008 likevwise for remaining categories and no if prizes
• These numerical values will help in sorting and differentiating prize levels, even if the actual prize is
non-monetary.
Important Notes
• Category names must match exactly between sheets
• Rank and Rating columns must contain numeric values
• For disabilities, use PC or VC in the Special Prizes column
• Age categories must use exact format (e.g., F07, not F7)
• Minor formatting or header corrections can be done later during the output phase
